150 year anniversary (postponed until 2022)

Due to the pandemic situation the organising committee has decided to postpone the jubilee meeting one year. It will be held in the same place and at the same time, but in 2022. Stay tuned for more information!

In 2021 it is 150 years since the Geological Society of Sweden was founded. We will commemorate this by organising an anniversary meeting to be held in Uppsala 17–19 August 2021.

Our ambition is that the meeting will be of interest to all geoscientist that are active in Sweden or that have an interest in various aspects of Swedish geoscience.

We are aware of the current pandemic, and the fact that we at this stage don’t know how it will affect us later during the year. However, we hope that a physical geoscientific meeting will be possible.
