Travel/Transportation Information

The closest international airport to Lund is Copenhagen Airport (also known as "Kastrup"), in Denmark. The journey time by train from the airport to Lund is about 30 minutes. The journey takes you over the Öresund Bridge connecting Denmark to Sweden and via Malmö central station. Train tickets can be purchased from Skånetrafiken ticket machines in the arrival halls at the airport. Please note that tickets can not be bought on the train. Daytime there is a train every 20 minutes to Lund and at night there is one train per hour. For time tables, see Skånetrafiken.se.

The closest local airport to Lund is Malmö Airport (also known as "Sturup"). It has some international flights from destinations within Europe and flights from other Swedish airports including Stockholm. From the airport to Lund you go by bus or taxi. For timetable: Swebus Express, Flygbussarna

Lund is located on the main railway line from Copenhagen to Stockholm and Oslo. For time tables and ticket reservation see SJ.

Once you have arrived in Lund public transportation or walking is recommended within the city. Buses run regularly and will take you around the city. Please note that tickets can NOT be bought on the bus. The ticket has to be bought in advance at Skånetrafiken's customer centre (located at Malmö C and Lund C). By car
If you travel thru E20 from south (Copenhagen) to AF Borgen in Lund, take the E20 towards Malmö.
At junction 18 you keep right and follow E22 towards Kalmar/Lund. At junction 21 keep right and follow signs towards Lund C.

If you travel thru E6 from north (Oslo) to AF Borgen in Lund, take the E6 towards Malmö.
At junction 21 you keep right and follow signs towards Lund Lasarett/ Lund C.
